CD and DVD discs are still used by a lot of people nowadays, even though they appeared a while ago. That's because they have a series of advantages that everybody appreciates, they are cheap, they can store a reasonable amount of data and they can be played using a variety of devices. But the problem with optical discs is that they can get easily scratched and this is why it's important to back up the data on the hard disk. There are numerous applications on the market which can create backup images of CD and DVD discs in the ISO format. The problem with these programs is that some of them cannot burn the image back to a disc.

This can be a problem in case the user wants to share his backed up data or in case he downloads an image file from the Internet and he needs to burn it to a disc. Fortunately, there is a simple program which was specially designed for burning ISO images. I am talking about ISOBurn.

This simple Windows program can burn any kind of ISO image to a blank disc, using various settings. The word simplicity can be found in the program's installation procedure, which can be completed with a couple of clicks. Using ISOBurn is also simple, as its interface is intuitive. The user just needs to load the desired ISO image file into the program's interface, select the writing speed and click on the burning button.

ISOBurn is compatible with most CD and DVD writers and any kind of ISO image, no matter its size.

Pros

It allows you to burn any kind of ISO image file with ease. Besides that, it's compatible with virtually any optical drive.

Cons

The program only supports ISO files and cannot create them. ISOBurn allows you to burn any ISO image file to a blank disc with ease.
